ETC students are able to declare a concentration along with their MET. Attached is the latest list of elective courses for each concentration. ETC students should see their handbook for more information on how to apply for a concentration.
With the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Learning in Out-of-School Environments, the ETC has helped create the MakeShop, a do-it-yourself hack-lab for kids and their families housed in the Children’s Museum. Staffed with mentors and makers, and stocked with materials and tools, the MakeShop is a hands-on space for kids and families to explore ideas by tinkering, interweaving and repurposing “real stuff.”
