| Celebrating Oscar's universal appeal and importance to the film industry last night was the Pittsburgh Film Office. "Lights! Glamour! Action!," the PFO's annual Oscar Night fund-raiser at Heinz Field Club Level East, gave guests the star treatment as they walked the red carpet, enjoyed a live telecast of the Oscars and recorded their favorite movie lines. Among the 800 guests and local celebrities were PFO director Dawn Keezer, county executive Dan Onorato, and WTAE's Sally Wiggin and Michelle Wright. The Entertainment Technology Center's global logo was prominently displayed on all the big screen TV's around the hall as a main sponsor for this years Oscar event. Representing ETC this year were faculty member and local filmmaker Ralph Vituccio, Director of Career Services Juliegh DeCarlo, and second year ETC students Patrick Mittereder and Fred Gallart who were all given star treatment as they walked down the red carpet. |
