Graduation for the ETC Class of 2007 will be a demonstrably entertaining affair this year as the official graduation ceremony will occur at Heinz Field, the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers and University of Pittsburgh football teams.

The actual ceremony will take place in Heinz Field's East Club Lounge where three-story-length windows offer tremendous views of downtown Pittsburgh, as well as Heinz Field's partner sporting facility on the city's North Shore: PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Although the club itself is massive, offering over 45,000 square feet of space and capable of accommodating up to 500 people for sit-down meals or 2,000 guests for reception, Heinz Field's catering department will create a more intimate and accommodating environment for the ETC graduation ceremony. ETC guests will though have access to the slate and granite cocktail area featuring a cash bar serving beer and wine.

Even though the Pirates will be hosting an afternoon game versus the Arizona Diamondbacks that coincides with the ETC graduation ceremony, there should no problem whatsoever with the overlap. Parking around Heinz Field is ample and the sports facilities are separated by over a quarter mile.

The ETC graduation ceremony will run from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 20, 2007. The ETC diploma festivities immediately follow the traditional graduation ceremony to be held in Gesling Stadium on the Carnegie Mellon main campus in Oakland. This year's keynote speaker is the renowned comedian Bill Cosby.
