Tepper School Hosts Business of Entertainment Panel in NYC

 The Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business hosted a panel on the ‘Business of Entertainment' that included ETC Executive Producer Don Marinelli. The panel coincided with a Tepper School alumni reception and occurred in the historic Luce Room of the Time-Life Building in midtown Manhattan on May 23, 2007.

The high-powered panel featured the following Carnegie Mellon alumni:

  • Peggy Eisenhauer (BS/CFA '83) Tony-Award winning Broadway lighting designer and Partner in Third Eye, Ltd.
  • Robert Finnerty (MSIA/TPR '67) Senior Vice-President, Radio, Fox News Network, L.L.C.
  • Ken West (BS/TPR '80) Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, Marvel Entertainment, Inc.
  • Don Marinelli, Executive Producer, ETC-Global

The host and Master of Ceremonies for the event was Robert Gursha (BS/TPR ‘75), Executive Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer, Time-Warner Retail Sales & Marketing.

Approximately 75 Carnegie Mellon alumni and friends attended the event. They enjoyed a lively discussion on the future of entertainment as viewed by individuals who are integrally involved in the business of entertainment followed by a generously hosted networking social hour.
