Voice of America Visits ETC for Robot Hall of Fame Feature Jun 27,2007 | |
| The Voice of America media services out of Washington, D.C. visited the ETC this past week for the purpose of filming a television news feature on the Robot Hall of Fame. A crew comprised of Ade Astuti, International Broadcaster for the Indonesian Services division of Voice of America, and Maria Sutadi, VOA Television Production Specialist, toured the ETC with Charles Palmer before sitting down with Don Marinelli to discuss the rationale behind a Robot Hall of Fame.
Ade and Maria filmed resident ETC robots and Robot Hall of Fame members GORT, from THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, and R2D2 and C3P0 from STAR WARS. The feature story is scheduled to be broadcast to Indonesia within the next few weeks. It will then be made available to other language units of the Voice of America. A copy of the feature story will also be sent to the ETC for archive purposes.
