Carnegie Mellon University is proud of its high standards and the world wide recognition accorded its programs. The accompanying attachments and specifics illustrate this point:
- A signed copy of the Training and Skills Commission’s Code of Practice (enclosed with acceptance offer).
- A copy of the National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students (enclosed with acceptance offer). This may be viewed in web form at http://www.dest.gov.au/esos/National_Code/contents.htm or in Adobe Acrobat form at http://www.dest.gov.au/esos/National_Code/Docs/National_Code.pdf.
- The accreditation status of the course: Degrees are granted by Carnegie Mellon University. All Carnegie Mellon degree programs, including those offered in Australia, are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education of the United States. Courses delivered by at the Adelaide site are also accredited by the South Australian Minister for Further Education and are listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS Provider #02696B).
All Carnegie Mellon degrees earned in Australia receive dual recognition in the United States and Australia.
