2024 Student Handbook
Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
Daryl Choa studied biology and psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. There she discovered that she liked to talk about science more than she liked to do science. Pursuing her passion for science education, she worked as a production assistant at NOVA, the public science television program. At NOVA, Daryl developed educational resources to teach complex scientific ideas and organized local science communication events.
Through her time working in the science education field, Daryl saw the potential for technology to enhance learning experiences and to reach a broader audience. Her goal at the Entertainment Technology Center is to leverage new and emerging technologies to create transformational interactive experiences that engage marginalized students in learning, all while maintaining a sense of fun and play!
