Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
Melanie came into this world with a computer at her fingertips and has been attempting to conquer and use them for the good of mankind since. Her first true battle was at Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science where she slaughtered the theory and logistics of Computers earning herself a degree in Computer Science. Never satisfied she turned her eyes towards the entertainment technology industry where she felt computers and media had the most potential to influence, support, and shape the world. She took courses at the ETC in her free time as an undergrad, to study her opponent. Eventually she ended up working for Schell Games, a start up game development company in Pittsburgh. But Melanie, ever curious has rejoined the ETC as a graduate student so that she can develop the means and understanding to make the world a better place through interactive media.
