Samik Bhowal

Born in the desert city of Muscat, Oman, and after few childhood years of schooling there, Samik moved over to the garden city Bangalore, India. Having earned a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication, his long drawn interest and passion for games and game development drove him to pursue a career in the game industry.



Having experience from international gaming tournaments, gaming runs in his blood. His other passions are Karate and drumming and here he's come to ROCK the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University.



After earning the requisite skills from the ETC he intends to join the Game dev industry which would offer him multi-faceted roles in Game Design, Programming and Production.
