Experience Hall, South Hall G, Sunday, 1:30 – 5:30 pm. Monday – Wednesday, 10:00 – 5:30 p.m., and Thursday, 10:00 – 3:30 p.m.
REALITEER Corp. propose a do-it-yourself add-on to integrate position tracking on mobile virtual reality devices. With this add-on, we can provide six degrees of freedom to most smartphone-based mobile VR systems (e.g. Google DayDream, Samsung Gear VR, etc) and enable a wide variety of activities requiring hand manipulation. This controller add-on enables us to distribute therapeutic contents that involves embodiment and hand-eye coordination to mobile VR users, which is a larger population than desktop VR users. In this experience, user can build their own customized controller and participate in one of our mindfulness exercise – Stone Balancing. Afterward, users can bring home their controller and a snapshot of their creation.

Music Everywhere AR is an augmented reality piano learning tool that focuses on teaching improvisation in blues, rock, jazz and classical styles. Leveraging a bidirectional MIDI-over-Bluetooth connection with a Microsoft HoloLens AR device, students at the piano can engage with interactive lessons, watch virtual hand demonstrations, see and hear example improvisations, and play their own solos and accompaniment along with AR-projected virtual bands and musicians.
Music Everywhere, Inc. is a creative studio with a passion for designing AR music experiences and music education applications. Founded in 2017 following an ETC project during the fall 2016 semester. Yen, Byunghwan and Seth are excited to be part of this years group of Pittsburgh-based entrepreneurs at AlphaLab.
