The Storiverse team aims to prove that fan engagement in a story can be enhanced through trans-media storytelling. Verizon’s “Relationship Status” is a drama that focuses on a different romantic relationship in each episode. The characters try to build new relationships or let go of old ones, all made more complicated by today’s constantly-connected, social media-driven world. Storiverse will create VR and AR experiences that can be accessed from a single device (for example, a Pixel smartphone), in order to place fans in the Relationship Status story.
Team Members: Timothy Ahene, Xiao Bao, Brynn Gelerman, Tauseef, Yuxing Wang, Zhenyu Xu
