Traumatic experiences often leave negative repercussions in children. This can cause habitual negative thinking, feelings and behaviors. Our client, Allegheny Health Network, treats these children with TF-CBT, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in order to inform and help them recover.
Team Transcendence is augmenting the TF-CBT process by creating a game to help teach children about the Cognitive Triangle consisting of thoughts, feelings and behaviors, and how to replace their negative thoughts with positive ones in order to improve their lives.
