ETC Japan Global Initiative - Osaka Campus

ETC-Jpan

One year after receiving an invitation from the City of Osaka, the ETC-Global opened a satellite campus in Osaka, Japan in January, 2008.

The purpose of the ETC-Japan campus is to provide our students with the opportunity to have a global educational experience while developing relationships with both industry and universities in Japan.

The ETC-Japan campus is under the leadership of Program Director, Michelle Macau and serves as a project location. Students must begin their studies with the ETC-Global at our campus in Pittsburgh. Once they have completed the Immersion Semester, students may then choose to travel to any of our global locations for the remaining 3 semesters to complete their project and elective work.

Our first industry collaboration at the ETC-Japan has been in conjunction with SHARP Corporation. We look forward to continued successes with SHARP as well as establishing relationships with additional corporations throughout Japan.
