The Entertainment Technology Center is truly an interdisciplinary place. Our students have degrees in areas from across the disciplines. They've majored in fine arts and computer science, of course, but also architecture, drama (acting, screenwriting, lighting), design, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, radio and television, and music to name a few. We attempt to keep a balance between artists and technologists in the program while maintaining the highest standards of admissions.

Some students join the ETC directly from their undergraduate studies, while others have been a part of the work force for many years. Most of our students are in their 20s, and the average age is 25, though we have had students in their 40s and 50s. Additionally, our students have come from around the world, including Colombia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan and of course the US.

Because of the interdisciplinary nature of our program, this diversity is an important factor to us.
