Patrick Shore

Patrick has studied Information Science and Technology at Penn State University in his undergrad.  He is also an avid musician, actor, and stand up comedian.  Patrick loves engaging an audience and giving them an experience that will stick with them.  This project combines every one of Patrick’s passions into one convenient little package.

Alex Loughran
Director
Throughout this semester Alex hopes to succeed in combining a music video, a video game, and a facebook app into a single, four minute, interactive experience. Prior to coming to the ETC he majored in Film and Digital Media at Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA.

Chen Yang
Editor
Chen has shot over 30 short films and is looking for the next big thing in film as a medium. His background will help us create the best interactive transmedia music video EVER (or at least get us a job!

Simeng Yang
2D Artist
Sim’s background is in UI design. On this project she will be the 2D artist, helping with storyboard art and textures for the interactive part of the experience.  She will also lend her eye for design while the filming is being done.

Frank Hamilton
Technical Director
Frank is a game designer that is using this project to explore web games and interactive media. On the project he is the technical director, which puts him in charge of making the website, game, and transmedia portions work and be scalable.

Himanshu Vartak
Programmer
While Himanshu is a programmer by trade, he is a budding filmmaker. In Amalgamedia, he is trying to marry his love for film with his expertise in programming. Himanshu will be breathing “life” into a usually passive film-watching experience, making the video an interactive adventure that will leave the viewer asking for more!
