We are Beyond The Stage. Our mission is to use interactive media to bring the magic of theater to the audience online, hoping to draw that audience to the theater once again.

This semester we are working in association with Kristoffer Diaz, Lynn Nottage, and the Black Women Playwrights’ Group on two projects: Vera Stark and Chad Deity.

As part of the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, our team consists of mostly Graduate Students. Feel free to browse around and look at what we’ve been up to!
