This week we presented our game in the BVW Festival. It’s a big success. We had a lot of visitors and could feel people were really into it and understood the difficulties of patients. Besides, we updated our AR device and also start to prepare for the final presentation.

Newsletter Week 14

This week we had our soft opening. We showed our demo to the faculties and got a lot of practical feedback from them. Besides, according to the reaction of faculty, we find out that color blindness is not a good symptom for the chasing activity. We decide to add a new symptom – optic neuritis.

This week, we changed our narrative according to the feedback we got from the faculty. We also implemented UI. On Friday, we held a playtest with 8 pharmacy students.

This week, we finally decided 5 best activities for players. We also think of some narratives for VR experience since this will help the players feel more engaging. We asked some professors to help us with the narratives.

Newsletter Week 11

This week we mainly focused on continue implementing our prototypes as we planned. We finished setting up the hardware for Ar. After sending some screenshots to the client we also had some feedback from him during the meeting.

Newsletter Week 10

 This week we change a lot. First we add more activities to augmented reality experience. Second we decide to implement three symptoms with driving and two with chasing. We also hold a playtest with 12 players. They experience both AR and  VR experience.

This week we did our half presentation. Our major feedback from the faculty is that they are not clear what we are going to do with AR experience. Our workload is a little bit heavy for our team too. We had a meeting to solve those problems.

This week we held two successful playtests, one with ETC students and the other with some medical students. We tried out Poppy 3D but it is not as good as we expected. We also get preparation for our half presentation.

This week, we finished the design for both driving and chasing. Programmers start to replace placeholders with real models. We also tried several symptoms in the AR app.

This week we developed a basic driving demo. Also according to quarters feedback, we are going to include both VR and AR experience in our game.
