This week, team Daedalus has poured all its efforts into learning how to effectively use the ImpactJS Engine and MongoDB database, we have tested the limits of our software and have completed a simple prototype to show our clients (CMU Hacking team) how we aim to present the game. With the strong approval and confidence from our client, we are able to move out of pre-production and head into production phase with a good idea of what we are able to achieve, some experience with how to prioritize our resources and a superb understanding of the collective vision of PicoCTF 2014. Unfortunately, due to competition parameters, we are unable to share our game with the general public just yet! But we are ready to release some screenshots of our in game villains and a brand new question interface! Next week, we will be performing a series of playtests to get feedback from players about the content we have released so far, stay tuned to see if we are accurate in our estimations of our game.
