Carey Davenport – Producer / Sound Designer

Carey

After teaching for eight years, I decided it was time for me to do something that I really loved.  The interpersonal skills that I learned in education have helped me to become an effective producer for projects at the Entertainment Technology Center. I will always be a producer first but there are days on Dark Clutches that I find myself being a sound engineer or the resident 3D model unwrapper.  And you know what… I’m extremely happy with that.

Noreen Durkin – 3d Modeller / Animatormy pic

As an alumnus of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Noreen Marie Durkin offers a diverse background in media and film production, 3D modeling, and chemistry.  At Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center, Noreen is currently the modeling and animation lead for the student pitch project: Dark Clutches.    Noreen’s passion for creativity extends outside the academic realm as well.  She is familiar with Irish and Modern dance and enjoys writing.   Always eager to bring her imagination and creativity to life, Noreen continues to explore new and unique techniques which allow her to fully express the characters and ideas in her created worlds.

Prateek Gudihal – Programmer / Web

After playing games for years I decided that it would be pretty awesome to start making them. My undergraduate degree at Carnegie Mellon taught me the skills I needed while my interest in gaming propelled me to the ETC and to Dark Clutches. I primarily handle a lot of the technical mumbo-jumbo behind the game and on the side I maintain the website.

Ryan Hall – Game Designer / 2d Artist

Entertaining others has been a personal goal of mine since before I could walk. Thankfully, since those days, my abilities have matured much more than my sensibilities and so I have taken to designing games. I steer the creative course of Dark Clutches through design and 2D art. I have also found myself making levels, buttons, weird noises, and anything else that the game requires on a daily basis.

Peter Kinney – Programmer / Game Designerpeter

Making games for a living has always been my dream job, but for a long time I assumed that it was a pipe-dream. The Dark Clutches project is the closest I’ve come to achieving that dream (I just need to find a way for it to pay my rent). On the project I take care of a lot of the technical problems as well provide a second opinion on Ryan’s designs.
