Week 10 – Newsletter

Hi, we are team Funival.

This week, we worked on fine tuning our Ice cream game. First, we changed the time bar UI to make it more visible. Now the new UI have clear outlines. Also, we adjusted the mobile controller to increase the sensitivity. Now, players can avoid fireballs more easily compare to the previous gameplay. The machine turns red before the fireballs come, so that the players can have enough time to avoid fireballs before they fall down. We also added sound effects on the screaming ball. Now, the blue balls will scream until other ice cream balls cover the top. We expect that this new sound effect will give the player more exciting moments as they play our ice cream game. We also got some feedback from the client meeting.

Feedback for reward system:

  1. Clients prefer we make our own gift instead of using photo from the internet
  2. Take every chance to show the ice cream
  3. Choose a clear goal: a. Emphasis on polishing the art, tune the games; b. Emphasis on completing the functions and features.
