Speech Recognition |

Kotodama relies heavily on the use of speech input from the player. Currently Kotodama uses the Julius open source real-time large vocabulary speech recognition engine developed at Kyoto University. |

Controller

| Kotodama is designed to be played with a typical game controller. This input was chosen because of its appeal and familiarity to Kotodama's intended demographic. The currently recommended controller is the Logitech PC Controller. |

Mic Headset |

| For speech input the Kotodama project uses the Sennheiser PC 150 headset. A mic headset is recommeded to prevent interference of game audio with player speech input. |
