Oceanus 4 is an Entertainment Technology Center project that will continue the development and completion of two interactive crowd experiences that will be exhibited at the International Exposition 2012 in Yeosu, Korea. Our client is GL Associates. Our team is based at the ETC’s Osaka, Japan location, and our advisors are Dr. Salvador Barrera, John Dessler, and Shirley Saldamarco.

All guests attending the Expo 2012 will pass through the Expo Digital Gallery (EDG), and walk underneath a massive LED ceiling display that exhibits our content. Hundreds of thousands of guests will be able to interact with our EDG Twitter and Magic Tiles experiences. EDG Twitter is an animated visualization of a Twitter feed that comes to life with the help of colorful koi fish. Magic Tiles is a magical augmented reality experience that uses a magical network camera to virtually transport people to a magical environment where they can play with arctic animals. The theme of the Expo 2012 is “The Living Ocean and the Coast,” and our interactives convey this theme while creating a fun and immersive experiences for all Expo attendees.
