PlayStation BlackLight is a project at Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center during the Fall semester of 2012.  In conjunction with Sony Foster City, PlayStation BlackLight will be rapid prototyping five experimental assignments using PlayStation Mobile, each in three week sprints, over the course of the semester.  Product deliverables will primarily be for the PlayStation Vita, but possibly include PCs, tablets, and mobile phones.  The main goal of this project is for Sony Foster City and the Entertainment Technology Center to not only discover one another’s development processes but also to build a rapport in the hopes of establishing a continuing working relationship with one another.
