Moving along!

This week we had a lot of major decisions made for the project, first we had the faculty come in and look at our large pyramid markup. And the faculty thought that the one sided plane projection is probably the better option for us to use in keep us in scope and the pyramid has a sci-fi flare that they’re afraid it won’t be perceived well amongst the audience.

We also met with Ben Carter from main campus to have him manufacture the kiosk for us. Ben brought up a lot of points for us to consider that can help our design. For example, the kiosk needs to be drink proof, and disaster proof in case anything happens. And we also need to have an opening on the top where the wifi can get in for us to use in the experience.

We also got our kiosk hardware in the mail! Our tech team has experimented with the mic, the ELO touchscreen and started the process to set up kiosk.

Next week we’ll start cleaning out our installation space and start decorating our space!
