Post-Quarters

After our quarters presentation, we got our feedback from the faculty and used it to plan towards halves. The team started to sense a huge level of pressure and baggage at quarters when we saw the reaction from the faculty, especially the ones who are close friends and colleagues with Randy Pausch. With the ETC 15 anniversary coming up, we’re sensing this project is becoming more high profile as we wrap up with pre-production.

Starting this week, we have jumped into our production phase. With GDC and spring break coming up, we will be losing 2 weeks of production time so the team is working around it to make sure we have a solid prototype by halves presentation.

Chris will spend the week sorting out the 375 questions from the pile and put them into different categories. Vivienne will take on more UX design for the website and will be working closely with Thomas and Xiaoxin to start importing the designs into the website. Zhen will be working on keying the backgrounds out from the interview footage and get the kiosk finished ready for halves.

This week is going to be tough for the team as most of us will be heading to GDC next week, we’re ready to push a lot of deadlines far in advance to get us ready for halves.
