Back during Superbowl 35 we saw the debut of a technology called
“EyeVision”.
This gave the television audience views of the action from any angle. An advanced
version of this technology will be in place during tonight’s game, thanks to the
efforts of researchers at Carnegie Mellon University, under the direction of Takeo Kanade.

THURSDAY - SUNDAY
"The Spirit of the Game"
It’s been a great week here at the Carnegie Robotics Center. All week long the crew saw the latest
and greatest in robotics at the RoboExpo, the Robot Hall of Fame, and the hands-on exhibits.
And just to cap it all off, we’re broadcasting this year's RoboBowl from the greatest arena in all robotic sports.
All this was made possible by the top- notch robotics of
Carnegie Mellon University.
Truly, the Carnegie Science Center has really established Pittsburgh nationally as “RoboBurgh”.
