Skyline presents Shattered, the story of Helios and his son Phaethon. The story follows the sun God Helios who grants his only mortal son one wish, which comes at a cost. Inspired by ancient greek pottery we will be using 3D animation with a 2D style to portray the father’s emotions visually and through narrative. During the first semester of the year long animation project, we delved into storyboarding, animatics and a technical pipeline test. Our work will then be handed off next semester to complete the animation.
