According to the feedback from Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School, we are going to creating the progress bar and the candy fireworks.

In our previous game there is an indicator about levels and rounds, which is just numbers and texts.

This week we created a new indicator – progress bar that can show the students’ progress in an engaging way.

Moreover, we started to write guide to the teachers.

Guide

  1. This game is a competition for 2 teams, and the faster team go through all the levels will be the winner.
  2. Each level contains several rounds, and teachers can choose how many they want in the settings tool.
  3. There are 3 game mechanics in the game: pieces, piles and Numberline.
  4. Pieces: Students are supposed to select several pieces of candy in this game, adding them together to get the required fractions. (Multiple choice)
  5. Piles: Students are supposed to choose among piles of candy to get the required fractions. (Single choice)
  6. The Number line Solution: A number line will appear if this box is checked, on which students are supposed to choose fractions between 0-1. (the fractions are more complex than those in pieces & piles)
  7. In the end, candy fireworks will show up as the prize for winners. However, the other team can still continue playing until they finish all the levels so that fireworks can be more fantastic.
