We had our halves presentations this week. We had originally planned to finish our MVP and do a live demonstration at halves. We were slightly behind schedule and got a demo-able prototype by the end of the week.
Our halves went well and we got great feedback that will definitely be useful going forward in the semester.
Right now the game has features integrated except defending and attacking but lacks a lot of helpful UI elements and feedback when performing actions. We plan to go ahead with the current schedule and work our best to have a feature complete game by softs.
We are currently working on network issues with combat and need to write some network code to sync damage and bullet spawns. We also need to create a bullet spawner code that allows players to have a cross-hair and a different spawn point for bullets as the player would be in the ship view when trying to shoot.
