Vis Viva Week 1:

This week we came up with our team name: Vis Viva, (pronounced vi viva).  We chose this name because it was used to describe an early theory of the conservation of energy, and was the first known description of kinetic energy. We thought this fit our project well since we are working on developing an energy lab.

We discussed our team roles. We have three programmers, two artists, a designer, and a sound designer.  We also have two co-producers.

We also met with our faculty advisors and scheduled a time to meet with Elizabeth Forward early next week.

Our goal for this term is to continue building an interactive energy lab for middle school students, and our focus for this project is the creation, collection and use of fossil fuels.  We have started to brainstorm some initial ideas on this topic and will hopefully learn more after meeting with Elizabeth Forward on Monday.
