Welcome to the Website for Polar Frontier.

Here you will find information on the project progress, objective, and inner workings of the development of a series of games for the upcoming Polar Frontier exhibit at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

The Columbus Zoo has teamed up with the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University to create fun, yet educational games to incorporate into their new exhibit.

The goal of the games is to increase awareness of polar bear survival issues with regards to climate change, hopefully initiating empathy and concern for the bears and the polar environment in general.
