Quarter Walkarounds

Week 5, and it’s time for Quarter Walkarounds. The teams set up demos and information in their workspaces and we invited people from EA to visit, play demos and give feedback. We had about 14 visitors come through. The videos below were shot soon after our guests left and are representative of the experience they had. But first, let’s eat.

Funival_logoProject Funival is creating carnival games for families to play together on connected TV platform. Working closely with the Office of the Chief Creative Officer at Electronic Arts, the team is exploring unique game mechanics to make full use of the connected TV platform, and designing games suitable for single player and multiplayer experiences. Drawing inspiration from traditional carnival games, Project Funival is giving these games new life on a family’s televisions and mobile devices. The project’s goal is to recreate the exuberant atmosphere of arcades and amusement parks in the living room, and bring families closer together through play.
