Welcome Spring 2016

Twenty students are joining us this semester to work on four projects; nineteen are second year students who will be graduating in June.

The projects are all in different areas: one on the Connected TV with EA’s Office of the Chief Creative Officer, one using Occipital’s Stucture Sensor to create a practical AR application for iOS devices, one developing for the Internet of things, and one using Autodesk’s Dreamcatcher project to explore generative design using games.

Final Presentations – Fall 2015

Final Presentations were on Wednesday, December 16th. The teams presented to 38 guests, including 15 ETC alums who joined us for the event representing seven or eight different companies. And thank you again to Electronic Arts and all the people in UR and the OCCO who supported us all semester.

On Tuesday we had our Half Presentations. The students presented to 18 guests, and then did a combination of hands-on demos and playtests in EA’s gameroom.

Quarter Walkarounds

Mid-week number five, and it’s time to show some early prototypes. We hosted an open house in our space at EA and invited EA’ers from the OCCO, UR and a myriad of projects to come up during lunch to meet the teams and try out their projects. About 18 people visited – here’s a couple videos to give a sense of the experience, starting with a first-person visit with each team:
