My name is Carlos Sokion Shin, and am a User Experience Designer: a unique combination of anthropologist, interaction designer, prototyper, photographer, video editor, sound designer and internet radio DJ. Yes, I am quite a hybrid kind.
I design experience. Because, I love people, art and technology, and design is what synthesizes all these. I believe that design is not just about pretty pixels. It's about achieving intuitiveness and beauty at the same time for people to use.
I design to help people. As an early adopter, I have witnessed advancing technologies opening up countless possibilities, but I also have seen most people aren't getting much benefit from them. I found this was due to design problems in many cases. Therefore, my mission as designer is to bridge the gap and make your life easier and even more entertaining by solving your problems on behalf.
