Project Hindsight is a student pitch project at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center that deals with how choices affect not just ourselves, but the ones we love.
Using a unique blend of live-action film and 3D objects coupled with an
evocative narrative, Project Hindsight is a virtual reality experience
that asks the guest to confront how their decisions impact the people
around them. We aim to use interactive virtual reality to deliver a
cinematic experience that centers on even the smallest choices.
Our primary design challenge is the integration of said 3D objects within
a live-action setting and allowing the guest’s interactions to drive the
narrative.
How will your decisions look… in Hindsight?
Project Instructors: Ralph Vituccio, Heather Kelley
