Phoenix

This semester, Project Phoenix will be creating an experience in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University’s Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Services Department in order to enhance the pre-existing tabletop exercise.

The exercise helps increase the awareness, exercise, and improve an organization’s capability to respond, recover, and continue to provide services in the event of a disaster or significant business disruption within the established Recovery Time Objective. We will do this by creating and delivering a polished gamified experience with engaging visuals accompanied by an immersive soundscape.

Our goal is to make the pre-existing tabletop practice more fun and engaging.

Project Instructors: Ricardo Washington, Dave Culyba
