One of the main goals for the ETC’s Educational Technology Community is to develop student and teacher training experiences.  The ETC prides itself on learning through making, so it is only natural that the Educational Technology Community (ETC2) will focus on capturing best practices for measuring learning within project based curricula.

The professional and student development initiatives will explore learning via process through the lens of game design.  Development for this experiment in learning will start in 2017 and is planned to roll out for the fall academic semester.

We are currently looking for partners interested in collaborating and refining this effort.

Beyond diving into capturing learning throughout the process, the Educational Technology Community will investigate narrative driven portfolios and what role they play in education.
