Equipment

Starting from this week, we are working remotely due to the COVID-19. We got our work stations and MagicLeaps, and set up several Zoom meeting time slots with our clients and advisor. Things are going well and team members are comfortable transferring to working remotely.

Mid Feedback

Questions to think about and come up with several ideas:

  • At first unclear why AR, but then you cover it as client requirements and a means to make this “futuristic.” You still are light on actually using real-world space, the “reality” R part of AR. – how can we interact with the real world?
  • How to highlight the tweaking part and how guests’ action can change the result
  • It is also unclear what these job bubbles are in this version. How to let the guest know that these job bubbles are the career options related to Imani’s career?

Some decisions:

  • Live stream for the final presentation
  • Other AR project team for playtesting
  • Voiceover, change, let them know they are watching an interview
  • Hover effect to differentiate interactive/static UIs
  • Include a video of the girl saying “It’s nice to meet you” at the very beginning during the introduction
  • Add the “Evaluator to Evaluator” security interaction like hand-scanning
  • Add a boot screen, use spatial mapping (like Magic Leaps’ boot up)
  • Font/color Take a pass through-out for typos and readability with Shirley Yee
  • Keep consistency of UI so the buttons are always in the same space
  • Change the full-body heatmap to just neck up these two points are the priorities

Unclear feedback:

  • Add a dash around the job bubbles and put them farther to the side, rather than behind objects???

Plan

We collected the midterm feedback from our clients, advisor and other faculties. After that, we had an internal meeting and summarized some points. After meeting with our clients, we decided to elaborate on our project starting from the feedback.

Our plan for the week
