This week we had our midway point, Halves. We presented in front of the faculty here at the ETC. It was more like a showcase of what we had done till now and what we had planned ahead. We started off by showing them what thinking and design decisions went into the game, then we moved on to the game play and the art. We also showed that we had playtested at the ETC with 15 playtesters and gathered a lot of feedback.
After that we sat down and had a meeting about what kind of things needed to be done for the next playtest, which was immediately next week on Tuesday the 29th April. This sprint was mostly focused on getting more Twitch interactions in the game and making it clear what kind of things is the viewer voting on. As for this week we will mostly be in a time crunch and will try to get as many things as we can in the game before we playtest. We found out that dividing small work tasks into stories really helped the team understand what needs to be done when and with what level of priority.
Our client also visited us this Thursday on 24th. It was really interesting to hear what they had to say as we wanted a better picture of what they wanted from this project as a client and how they will use this project. We got to talk to both Lemu who is our main point of contact and Chris who leads the corporate strategy team. They gave us feedback on how we can improve our current build and that was something that our team was looking for.
