Week 9 High Productivity

After half presentation and spring break, we really came back refresh and went into a high productivity week. With the inspiration of the previous magical garden art design, we finally went with tiles and hot air balloon. Taking advantages of the shape of hot-air-balloon, we can help students get individual training of Elkonin-box without distraction. When they finish the exercise, they will get their results through the tiles they build. Students are exploring their own world , which is also the theme of the “flipping card game”. Based on this idea, we start modeling and development.

Attached are some of hot air balloon and tiles design we have.

Prototyping on the perspective changing idea, we have this attached progress.

On the Promethean Board, we had the prototype of game. We did playtesting within our group, during which we found it joyful when we played with it. Attached pictures were taken when Patrick and Olivia did the in-group playtesting.

After halves presentation, we summarized the questions from the halves feedback, and we have solved some of them. I will put the summary here to help us in latter half design and development.
