Gameplay Design For 1st Prototype
Game Mode A: (Arena)
- The Game is played in Rounds:
- Each sub-round:
- After 5 – 10 seconds 2 light sources spawn in the room (Maybe to the beat of music?). They should be facing different directions and be in different parts of the room.
- Players have 8 seconds to get to the light and hit the other player in the face with the light before the light despawns.
- After 4 sub-rounds, players will be informed that they will be able to place a mirror with their current head placement. They have 5 seconds to stand where they want before the mirror is placed where they are looking.
- (If this idea turns out to lag the gameplay too much, tapping this will turn into an active process.)
- After 4 sub-rounds, players will be informed that they have a mirror to place in the environment. (They can hold onto mirrors like an inventory.)
- They will be able to tap the screen (or push a button on screen), and then the mirror will appear where their face is.
- (If this idea turns out to lag the gameplay too much, tapping this will turn into an active process.)
- When the first person is able to hit another person with a light, they are awarded a point and win the round.
- Each sub-round:
- The first person to 10 points wins the game.
