Chautauqua Interactive strives to combine technology and theatrical performance art for the purpose of creating a meaningful interactive experience for the audience. It is our goal to engender the feeling of agency in the audience which we believe will significantly enhance the experience created by a theatrical performance.
We are in the process of developing two proof-of-concept, theatrical prototypes; one of which will be acted out live on the Carnegie Mellon campus in early May, and both of which are expected to be performed at the first ever Chautauqua Festival of Arts and Innovation being held by the Lake Arts Foundation in Chautauqua, NY in mid-September.
We will be putting on an interactive production of Rashomon at the Drama School of Carnegie Mellon University on May 4th - 5th. Please see the Rashomon section for details!
