2024 Post Graduation Statistics
Post graduation results of ETC students who completed degree requirements in May 2024.
Howard has a background in architecture. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture, he specialized in interactive design, digital & physical craft, and spatial user experience.
At the Entertainment Technology Center, Howard worked on a wide range of team projects as a game / level designer, including a VR training simulation for public speaking (Re-Present), room-scale narrative VR experience for the HTC Vive platform (Dilemma), digitally-augmented tabletop roleplaying games using mobile apps (Enigma), location-based entertainment involving physical environments and props, as well as a hypothetical theme park submitted for the 2018 Walt Disney Imaginations competition (Atlantis of the East), for which the team placed Semi-Finalist.
Currently, Howard is on a Co-op semester at Penumbra Inc, a medical devices company, where he is working as a game / level designer on a virtual reality application that enables physical therapists to host and assist stroke survivors in rehabilitating impaired physical (motor) and cognitive (mental) skills.
