José Francisco Mireles Macario

José is a game designer with a visual-first approach. He specializes in elegant design, physically engaging interactions, and emergent keepsakes. Prioritizes expanding reach through affordable access and minimal onboarding, while embracing the unique strengths of each platform. A graduate of Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, he holds dual minors in Animation and Film Directing & Production. His early career combined creative practice and education. He worked as a dance photographer and taught 3D Art and Filmmaking to both high school and college students. He is recognized for his adaptability and creative range. He regularly participates in game jams and has developed Game Boy prototypes, party card games, tabletop RPGs, LEGO-based board games, interactive films, and educational video games.
