Laura Pliskin is a New York native. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where she received a Bachelors degree in Studio Art. During her tenure at the school, she discovered that the art world was far richer than simple portraiture, the passion which drew her to art in the first place. Although she was being heavily recruited by the United States Olympic Weightlifting Team, the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, and the Powerpuff Girls, she is currently pursuing a Masters degree at the Entertainment Technology Center of Carnegie Mellon University. She is happy to be a member of the inaugural class of the Adelaide, Australia campus. Laura is passionate about improving the interactive experience afforded in video games. "Video games", says Laura, "are a great place for the development of interactive story. In particular, a great game must provide an incredible sense of individual choice."
