2024 Student Handbook
Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
I am currently earning a masters degree at the ETC, focusing on game design and UI. After 6 years of experience in the graphic design industry I am pivoting to my passion: games. I've been creating table-top strategy games in my spare time since 2008 and I love to explore new frontiers for the medium.
I am adept at creating 2D designs, textures and illustrations in a variety of styles and I'm quickly learning 3D modeling. I love to challenge myself and learn new skills. I am comfortable in a diverse, collaborative work environment using agile methodologies and the scrum model. In my classes at the ETC we've already created several games working in international teams and learning valuable development strategies. My first semester project was sponsored by Verizon to create a mobile game. My current project is to create a VR street editing tool for the City of Pittsburgh and the Remaking Cities Institute.
