Growing up in a multicultural environment, Rei identifies herself as a global nomad who lived in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Iowa before coming to Pittsburgh. She enjoys drawing, painting, and buying new clothes as she claims herself to be an online shopping enthusiast.
Rei's goal in art is to bring up the idea of being a minority, through the idea that everyone is a minority in some way which can be an intersection for every individual. She hopes this sense of intersectionality could make "their" problem into "our" problem around the world.
