Sam Polglase hails from Minnesota where he grew up in a small town named Scandia. Sam was always a curious and creative child with a knack for math and computers. Sadly, due to his strict upbringing he was deprived of video games until the era of the Playstation. But, from the moment he played his first game of Twisted Metal as Mr. Grimm he's been hooked on phonics...errrr entertainment technology. Sam is excited by the potential that interactive media poses to transport "guests" to other worlds and create truly immersive experiences. Since Sam graduated from Macalester College with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Geology he has decided to travel down the path of making his love for entertainment technology his vocation. Through the Carnegie Mellon ETC program Sam is searching for the skills and people to help him create completely new interactive experiences that are both fun and beneficial for the world. It also doesn't hurt that all this will be happening in beautiful Adelaide, Australia..
