Project Hybricks is a reproduction and transcendence of the Brick-by-Brick® Programme created by Play Included®, founded by Dr. Gina Gómez de la Cuesta. At the same time, Hybricks is the pioneer in creating a remote LEGO® experience using AR technology. It is a validation that people are able to experience brick building in both virtual and physical ways simultaneously, anyplace. The project is aimed at creating meaningful, positive experiences for children and young people through collaborative LEGO® building. Brick Clubs (as they’re lovingly called by children) offer a safe, accepting environment where participants can make friends, build confidence, and develop critical social and emotional skills—all while having fun! And Hybricks makes the first step in building this platform online, and bonding the virtual and physical LEGO® world together.
