Academics

Our approach? Hands-on, collaborative and cutting-edge.

Our students tackle real-world challenges in interdisciplinary teams, guided by faculty who are as curious and creative as they are.

With small student-to-faculty ratios and direct connections to industry, students gain the mentorship, feedback, and support they need to grow as both creative thinkers and professionals. Whether they’re building a transformational game, an immersive installation, or a tool for learning, ETC students leave the program prepared to lead and ready to make an impact.

Our Curriculum

Every ETC student begins with the Immersion Semester: four core courses that give our students a strong foundation in collaboration, creativity, and technology. After that, it’s all about project work. For each of three semesters remaining semesters, students tackle a new challenge and build a working prototype in just a few weeks. Sometimes, it's one they pitched themselves; other times, it's on behalf of a company or nonprofit. Every time, it's a glimpse of the future.

When we say we’re a master’s degree, we’re really not like any master’s degree you’ve ever seen.

Case Studies

Each semester, our students work together on projects that push the limits of entertainment technology. It's what makes us unique.
